Lilu Kernel extension for enabling Sidecar support on the following SMBIOS:

iMac13,x - iMac16,x
MacBook8,1
MacBookAir5,x - MacBookAir7,x
MacBookPro9,x - MacBookPro12,x
Macmini6,x - Macmini7,1
MacPro5,1 - MacPro6,1

Additionally whitelists the following iPad Models:

iPad4,x - iPad6,x

Note: Requires a machine with an Intel iGPU enabled and active, dGPU-only machines will not work.

Boot arguments

  • -caroff (or -liluoff) to disable
  • -cardbg (or -liludbgall) to enable verbose logging (in DEBUG builds)
  • -carbeta (or -lilubetaall) to enable on macOS newer than 12

    Implement patch to trick Pallas

    Goal of this PR is to create a temporary work around to the recently introduced changes in Pallas with macOS Monterey. This is a simple patch that reroutes where SoftwareUpdateCoreSupport.framework reads the SecureBootModel entry from. From there, Pallas will send the correct T2 OS update without causing installation or update issues when SecureBootModel is enabled via OpenCore.

    Note this currently requires the user to also add the following NVRAM variables to their OpenCore configuration:

    • 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102
      • HardwareModel | String | j137ap
    • 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82
      • boot-args | String | -patch_pallas
      • -patch_pallas can be appended to the end of your boot-args
